I am new to owning a Prius. I inadvertently turned of the Energy Monitor while driving down the road, and now I can't get it turned back on. What do I do?

Press the Info or Map buttons on the steering wheel if you have Nav. Or press the Speach button and say, "Screen On".

I think you can also turn it back on from the Info bezel button, but I don't remember how. Keep pushing buttons... cool

Thanks, Bill for the advice. I don't have a Nav system, and I have pressed the Screen On option, but it doesn't stay on!! (By the way, I have a 2007 if that helps).

OK, try this, no Nav required:
  • Press the Info bezel button
  • Press the Trip Info screen button
You should now have up the Energy screen and can switch by pressing the Consumption screen button. Turning off the display is really turning off the trip information. Even with the screen off, pressing the Climate bezel button will turn on the display to show you the climate controls, but the default system setting is to return to the Trip info after a few seconds, and if the Trip info is off, the screen goes off.

I hope this solves the problem. Check out PriusChat for a ton more information.

Thanks, Bill! I swear I tried that before with no results. But it worked this time. Go figure. Thanks again!
